Métis Family Services Cultural Activities

Métis Family Services facilitates weekly groups, annual events, and meaningful connections with Indigenous Elders.

Please note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all agency-hosted events and cultural activities are being held virtually.
Please check the calendar on the home page of our website for up-to-date information on Youth Circles and other events.

Youth Circle
Youth Circle is a weekly drop-in program for Métis youth aged 12-19. Facilitated by a Youth Worker; teens who attend can expect games, outings, Life Skills, new friendships, and improved cultural connections.
Family Nights
Family Nights run on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in the Métis Family Services Cultural Building. Dinners,  family-friendly activities, and Elder support are offered at no cost to parents.
Elder Connection
Métis Family Services works in collaboration with our Métis knowledge keepers. Elders enhance our programs through ceremony and mentoring, and are available for personal support on a case by case basis.
Community Referral
Not sure where to seek support? Métis Family Services partners with and can make referrals to external agencies offering services to children, youth, and families in the Lower Mainland.
